Therapeutic Services

Individual Therapy

  • We have therapists who are licensed in DC and Maryland. We see clients virtually and in person at our Adams Morgan office in Northwest Washington DC. We are happy to provide you with a superbill to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider. Our rate for 45 minute sessions is $195. We also offer a limited number of sliding fee options for clients with low to moderate income (upon request). Please review our team page to see the various modalities we use to provide an individualized approach. These modalities often include CBT, DBT, mindfulness, Imago, somatic experiencing, and trauma interventions (TF-CBT and CPT).

Couples Therapy

  • We offer 50 minute couples therapy sessions to help partners gain more effective communication skills, deepen their connection, and/or work through parenting concerns. To legally and ethically bill insurance for couples therapy, treatment needs to be medically necessary and tied to a previous diagnosis. We do not diagnose in couples work and therefore, it is uncommon for our couples sessions to be reimbursed by insurance. We are happy to discuss this more in a free consultation or in your initial intake session. Our rate for couples sessions is $230.

Group Therapy

  • We offer small (4-8 members) processing groups as well as psychoeducation groups on various topics throughout the year. Fees range from $30-$100 per group. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about groups or would like to request a certain type of group.

LGSW and LGPC Supervision

  • We offer individual supervision for DC social workers and counselors working towards independent licensure. Our rate is $100 for 60 minute supervision sessions.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
